MyCC issued a proposed decision against three enterprises for bid rigging
3 October 2024
On 10 September 2024, the Malaysia Competition Commission (“MyCC”) provisionally found three enterprises to be engaging in bid rigging conduct with respect to six tenders issued by Perbadanan Putrajaya for maintenance works, worth approximately RM45 million. The enterprises were alleged to have entered into agreements and colluded in their conduct to fix bidding prices, share bid information, and coordinate the preparation and submission of bids. The MyCC will issue its final decision, setting out whether there is a finding of infringement or otherwise, once the MyCC considers the written and oral representations of the enterprises.
