Tax incentive package for Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone announced
Following the signing of the Agreement on the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone by Malaysia and Singapore on 7 January 2025, the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (“MIDA”) had on 3 February 2025 published a snapshot of the tax incentive package available for the JS-SEZ.
To facilitate JS-SEZ investment, Invest Malaysia Facilitation Centre Johor (“IMFC-J”) was also launched on 18 February 2025. The IMFC-J is jointly led and operated by representatives from MIDA, the Iskandar Regional Development Authority, and Invest Johor.
