Zandra has extensive experience in corporate finance and capital markets-related work including initial public offerings (IPO), equity and debt securities offerings and real estate investment trusts (REITs). Zandra also has experience in mergers and acquisitions, privatisation of public companies, corporate debt restructurings, foreign investments, joint ventures and other general corporate exercises.

Zandra is ranked in Chambers Asia-Pacific in Corporate/Commercial: Equity Capital Markets where she is endorsed for having “a strong track record in equity capital markets transactions and has notable specialism in REITs. She is able to assist with both Malaysian and foreign listings.”. She is recognised as Highly Regarded in Capital Markets in IFLR1000 in which a client attests that “she provides very professional advice.”. She has been described by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific as “meticulous, sharp and provides great support from ‘start to finish’”. Zandra was awarded “Woman Lawyer of the Year” at the Asian Legal Business Malaysia Law Awards 2024.

Prior to joining Rahmat Lim & Partners in 2011, Zandra was a Partner in the capital markets and mergers and acquisitions practice at another Malaysian law firm for more than eight years.

Zandra is concurrently a partner in Allen & Gledhill LLP, the Firm’s associate firm in Singapore.

Work Highlights

• IPO and listing of Prolintas Infra Business Trust, the first business trust in Malaysia.
• Oriental Holdings Berhad’s acquisition of plantation assets from its related parties for MYR1.2 billion.
• Pavilion REIT’s acquisition of Pavilion Bukit Jalil for MYR2.2 billion and the private placement of new units in two tranches to raise gross proceeds of up to MYR1.27 billion to part finance the acquisition.
• Capitaland Malaysia Trust’s acquisition of 91.8% of total strata floor area in Queensbay Mall, Penang for MYR990.5million and private placements of new units in CLMT to part finance the said acquisition.
